In Tokyo's Ueno district lies Ameyokocho. It's a narrow, but lively street along the railroad tracks between JR Ueno and Okachimachi Stations where one can find all kinds of shops and markets that are selling fish, produce, shoes, clothes, backpacks, etc, and at relatively cheap prices... for Japan anyway.
